NSF flays JKPSC for continue discrimination with Jammu

JAMMU: Statehood for Jammu is only way out to end the 67 years long discrimination with the people at Jammu region, this was announced by Dr Vikas Sharma State President NSF in an organized Press-conference by City team of National Secular Forum (NSF).While addressing the Press-conference here today, National Secular Forum (NSF) State President Dr Vikas Sharma said that out of total posts of 37 of Assistant Professor in CHEMISTRY, 28 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 09 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 21 posts 18 candidates are from Kashmir province while 03 is from Jammu.Dr Vikas Sharma said that out of total posts of 56 of Assistant Professor in EVS, 39 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 17 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 20 posts 13 candidates are from Kashmir province while 07 is from Jammu.Dr.Vikas also informed that out of total posts of 58 of Assistant Professor in Education, 47 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 11 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 21 posts 18 candidates are from Kashmir province and 03 candidates have been selected from Jammu.Dr.Vikas informed the press media that out of total posts of 10 of Assistant Professor in BBA, 07 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 03 candidates have been selected from Jammu. In the RBA category out of total of 06 post 05 candidates are from Kashmir province and 01 candidate have been selected from Jammu.Disclosing the share of posts of Assistant Professor Arabic, found in the selection list issued by Public Service Commission, Sharma informed the press media that out of total posts of 14 of Assistant Professor in Arabic, 11 candidates have been selected from Kashmir and 03 candidates have been selected from Jammu.Pertinently, earlier the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission had announced results of Urdu, History, Commerce, Geography, Zoology, Mathematics, Physics, sericulture and English, in which most of the selected candidates were from Kashmir province, he said.Dr Vikas Further said that the latest example of favouritism came to fore when the central Govt enhanced the PG Seats in J&K State to 70, out of which Medical College Jammu got only 13 seats while 57 seats go to Kashmir Valley which corroborated the fact that people of Jammu were constantly doled out discrimination in all spheres.Dr Vikas Sharma flayed the PDP-BJP coalition government for meting step-motherly treatment to the people of Jammu. He particularly took to the task BJP MLAs for maintaining stoic silence on the issue and reiterated demand for statehood to Jammu. He alleged that people of Jammu were facing worst kind of discrimination at the hands of Kashmiri rulers and asked them to get united to launch a comprehensible struggle to get rid of all the ills.He the forum has decided to launch full fledges agitation from 15 of April 2017 at tehsil level in the complete Jammu region.Among those who were present on the occasion included Rishikesh Rana, Manmohan Singh, Pardeep Sharma and Anshu Sharma.
