APMCC deliberates CM's assurance to Migrant employees working in Valley


JAMMU: All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) today held a crucial meeting with Migrant employees working in Kashmir Valley to deliberate the assurances given to APMCC delegation by the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti regarding some burning issues concerning employees.The APMCC leadership informed the employees that a high level delegation of APMCC recently met Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and submitted a memorandum on behalf of all PM & Non-PM Package Migrant employees working in Valley highlighting their burning issues which include delayed salaries, harassment by DDOs, accommodation issues besides the concerns of migrant candidates whose cases are still pending despite court orders, SSRB cases and reserved candidates.The leadership thanked Mehbooba Mufti for her assurances that all the genuine concerns of the employees would be addressed and orders issued for their regular salaries in future and pending salaries and arrears, further breathing time for migrant employees to resume their duties in Valley besides taking up the issues of court directions, SSRB and reserved vacancies and in a time frame manner.Addressing the employees the leaders thanked the chief minister for her concern towards the plight of employees working in Kashmir Valley and hoped that requisite orders will be issued in next few days to clear the confusion that has been created by some stubborn DDOs and DTOs regarding release of their pending salaries and other issues.The leaders said that the chief minister has also assured that any show-cause notices, suspensions and other actions initiated against the employees would be taken care of and necessary directions issued very soon to make them null and void.The meeting attended by hundreds of employees was addressed by senior leaders Vinod Pandit, Chairman APMCC, King C Bharati, Senior Journalist and National Spokesperson APMCC, Sanjay Koul, Ranjan Jyotshi, Vinod Tikoo, Anil Pandita, Rakesh Pandita, Kamal Kishore and others.The leaders also informed the employees that a crucial meeting was also held with the PDP vice president Sartaj Madni recently where same concerns were raised to which the PDP leader assured that all the assurances of the Chief Minister would be implemented in letter and spirit adding government was eager to resolve all the issues of the Kashmiri Pandit community particularly the migrant employees working in Valley.The leaders expressed hope that government would keep its promise and resolve the burning issues that have put the life and future of their children on stake.
