Rajesh Jain assumes charge of Chairman FOIJ


JAMMU: In a largely attended gathering of representatives including office bearers and Executive Committees Members of various industrial Associations, Sh. Rajesh Jain, President, Association of Industries, Gangyal, Jammu has installed as "Chairman Federation of Industries Jammu" as per FOIJnorms. Sh. Jatinder Aul, Co-chairman FOIJ & President, Small Scale Industries Association, Digiana,Jammu ; Sh. Romesh Badyal, Co-chairman FOIJ & President, Birpur Industries Association, Digiana,Jammu ; Sh. Rajinder Gupta, President, Laghu Udyog Bharti ; Mr. Ajay Langer, General Secretary of Bari Brahmama Industries Association and Mr. S. B. Abrol, General Secretary of Association of Industries, Gangyal specially graced the occasion.
Sh. Ajay Langer, General Secretary, Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) also took over the charge of Secretary General of Federation of Industries Jammu (FOIJ).Sh. Rajesh Jain, while taking over as Chairman FOIJ appreciated the services of outgoing Chairman, Sh. Lalit Mahajan for his dedicated involvement and commitment to represent the cause of industrial sector of Jammu during his tenure.
While taking over as Chairman FOIJ, Sh. Rajesh Jain reiterated that Association of Industries, Gangyal and Bari Brahmana Industries Association provide core strength and main support base upon which FOIJ has been created ably supported by two of its founding members viz. SSIA,
BIA which has since been provided adequate additional strength by the joining of Laghu Udyog Bharti, a national level body, in its ranks.
FOIJ has further been strengthen by the joining of representative industrial bodies which has further enlarged the scope and status of FOIJ to be the sole representative of the entire industrial fraternity of Jammu region.
Sh. Rajesh Jain further reiterated that he shall make sincere efforts with fullest zeal to project the grievances of the industrial sector to seek their remedial solutions besides seeking the attention of both State / Central Govt.
towards the creation and development of industrial infrastructure in various parts of Jammu region keeping in view its more conducive nature for industrial growth.
He assured that he shall strive hard to seek the involvement of various organization created by industrial development growth towards rapid completion of ongoing projects to be able to be active participant in the 'Make In India' programme launched by the Hon'ble Prime Minister.
Sh. Rajesh Jain further appealed to the State Govt. to ensure 24 hours dedicated power supply to the industrial sector towards creation of additional employment opportunity. Industrial sector contributes near 100% revenue towards the power costs should be ensured uninterrupted power supply.
He further ensured to seek Govt. approval to accord Purchase/Price preference to local industrial in letter spirit. In view of the large scale infrastructural development projects participation of local industrial be ensured through MOU at the initial stages.
He further assured that he shall carry along entire industrial sector to achieve the required goals beneficial for the industries.
He further ensured to seek the participation and involvement of future generations.
He further emphasized that in GST regime all incentive presently been availed should be extended otherwise industry in our State will be forced to close down.
He appealed to Centre as well as State Govt. to take immediate effective measures to extend all the incentives i.e. excise duty refund / self credit VAT remission - C.S.T exemption on sales outside the State - Cashless VAT refund through SICOP and also toll tax exemption on raw material and finished goods.
