Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh organizing protest rally on April 17th


JAMMU: In a joint press conference of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh units Named Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association, Different Industrial workers unions, Bhawan Nirman Mazdoor Sangh, National State Government Employee Federation All Public Sector unions, and National Health Mission employees Association has announced that a Rally/Demonstration will be held on 17th April 2017 at M.A.M. Stadium, Dogra Chowk in support of workers/employees demands i.e. Hike in salary Rs. 15000/- for Anganwadi Worker and Rs. 10000/- for Helpers, payment of pending salary for the last 8 months, pension scheme under Provident Fund Scheme, Revision in minimum wages to Rs. 350/- per day for unskilled workers, to Abolish Contract labour system, Stop 12 hours Duty wage slip and employment card, issue P.F. annual account statement to industrial workers enforcement of labour laws strictly, constitute labour Advisory Board, Implementation of 7th Pay Commission Recommendations and Regularized all daily wagers in all the departments, To make permanent to all employees of National Health Mission and equal pay for equal work as per supreme court judgment and implement all welfare schemes for unorganized workers including construction workers and clearance of Building Construction workers pending education assistance cases of 2015 said in a press conference by Sh. Lakshman Ravinder Singh Senior leader, Sh. Subash Verma president, Sh. Ashok Choudhary General Secretary Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh Jammu and Kashmir State, Smt. Swarna Choudary President and Smt. Neelam Sharma General Secretary Anganwadi Workers Association, Rohit Seth President JK National Health Mission Employees Association and number of unions representative where also present in the conference.
