Yudhvir Sethi calls for collective efforts for steering J&K to pinnacles of progress, development
BJP General Secretary J&K, Yudhvir Sethi alongwith District Jammu Prabhari Jugal Dogra on called for collective efforts for steering the state to the pinnacles of development, progress, peace and prosperity. He said the BJP Government at the Centre is endeavoring for uplift of the people of all the three regions of the State, irrespective of caste, creed and colour.
This was stated by Sethi while addressing a gathering during a Langar organized by Lakhdata Bazaar Traders Association here at Lakhdata Bazar on Tuesday.
Sethi, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said that the BJP government under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken several initiatives for the welfare of people of the three regions of J&K. He solicited the cooperation of the people in realizing the dream of making the state economically vibrant and prosperous.
Referring to the demands put forth by the traders of the area, Sethi assured that he will take up all their issues with the authorities concerned for their early redressal.
Sethi emphasized that roadmap laid by his party was the only way to establish sustainable peace in the Jammu and Kashmir. He said that BJP through its programmes and policies has created a sense of security among residents of Jammu and Kashmir. He also threw light on the initiatives taken by BJP for the welfare of traders across the country. “BJP’s commitment to provide pension to traders over the age of 60 and Rs 10 lakh-worth accident insurance to traders registered under the GST addresses their long-standing demands,” he added.
Kartar Mahajan, President Lakhdata Bazaar Traders Association expressed gratitude to Sethi for sparing his valuable time for the programme.
