Police solves burglary case, 03 burglars arrested.


Srinagar, Jan 28: Police in Srinagar solved a burglary case and arrested three burglars involved in the criminal offence. Stolen cash also recovered.
Police Station Batamaloo received a complaint from an electrical goods shop owner Zahoor Ahmad Qureshi wherein he stated that some burglars had unlawfully sneaked inside his shop located at Batamaloo and stolen cash of ₹ 2,10,000 when he had gone outside to offer Friday prayers. Accordingly, a case FIR No. 04/2019 under relevant sections of law was registered and investigation was initiated.
Police taking aid of modern technical gadgets were able to identify one individual involved in the crime. When the officers spoke to him, they learnt about the involvement of the other two persons in the crime, one of them was employed as a salesman at the same shop.
Officers learnt that the salesman at the shop had entered into a conspiracy with the other two persons and planned to loot the cash while the owner was away for Friday prayers.
Police have recovered the stolen cash. All the three burglars have been arrested and remain in police custody. Further investigation in the matter is in progress.
The traders fraternity have appreciated the quick efforts and professionalism exhibited by the officers while investigating the crime. Police have appealed the general public and the traders fraternity to register the tenants and salesman with the concerned police stations in order to avoid the occurrence of such incidents.
